Following on from the UN Decade of Education for Sustainable Development 2005-2015, the 193 member countries of the UN adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development on 25 September 2015. The 2030 Agenda incorporates a set of 17 Global Goals to protect our planet, end poverty and ensure a sustainable, just and prosperous future for all people. For the goals to be achieved, everyone needs to do their part: governments, the private sector, civil society and young people just like you.
